Dragoon’s amazingly skilled chef’s always pride themselves on quality
as well as quantity, and if you are looking for a good old fashioned
bit of British grub then look no further. Upon
entering the Lounge side of the pub you will find our Best Of British
special board, featuring British style foods such as Cottage Pie, Toad
in the Hole, Steak and Bombardier Pie, and Steak and suet puddings. All
of which are homemade, here on site, in the cauldron of temptation that
is our kitchen. These are just examples, the Special
Board changes every day with a range of up to ten very different dishes
all sticking to that Best of British theme. Whether it be homemade fish
and chips, or homemade bangers and mash, there is sure to be something
that takes your fancy. We can guarantee that you will
enjoy any of our dishes from the Best Of British special board but the
real question is this, can you eat it all? Well, there is only one way
to find out. We buy as much of our ingredients as
possible locally, and we follow the seasons to produce top quality
dishes that are in season.
