About Us

We are a local village pub located in the friendly village of Brampton just outside Huntingdon. The pub is a two bar operation consisting of a lounge bar, where we mainly sell food, and the public bar, where various bar games take place such as pool, cards, Pub quizzes, entertainment and much more.

We have a traditional pub food menu, plus a Tapas menu, Bar Snack menu, and our ever changing Best of British special board. Details of these menu’s can be found elsewhere on this site by hitting the links above.

Here at the Dragoon we pride ourselves on quality, and not just with the food either, but all of our real ales come recommended by Cask Marque and in a recent survey we scored 20 out of 20 on every real ale we stock.

There are various different events that come around throughout the year where we offer different set menu’s for such occasions like Valentines’ day and St. Patrick’s Day. We try to keep things as traditional as possible, for example Irish stew and Colcannon on the St. Patrick’s Day menu.

We don’t just confine the celebrations to the food though, this St. Patrick’s Day the Guinness will be free flowing, the rugby on the TV, and plenty of games and music to keep all entertained. Have a look at our events page to find out more about what’s going on at the Dragoon.

We are open every Christmas day for Lunch by booking only.
